If there is one marketing strategy I want you to master, it’s this.

*The Know, Like and Trust Factor!*

This is a super famous marketing principle coined by Bob Burg. He states - ⠀⠀
“All things being equal, people do business with, and refer business to people they know, like and trust.”

This one principle, if used correctly will be a *game-changer* for your business. It’s so powerful, it’s the basis of all my content and customer journey strategies. I also teach my clients how to apply this within their own business.


If you need a good reason to shake-off your nerves and start showing up on Instagram stories, this is it my friends. Video is the *quickest* (I will repeat, *quickest*) way to walk a customer through this process - AKA sales! 💸

So let’s unpack the Know, Like and Trust principle:

At the core, it’s a process all human beings go through before purchasing. Depending on the product or service you are selling, will depend on how long and deep you need to go for each area to convert your ideal customer.

For example, selling clothing vs selling a car. If the investment is small, the KLT factor (still applies) but it’s much easier and quicker to move the customer through the journey to the buying stage. .

I KNOW YOU:
Don’t be the world’s best secret- if you want to stay in business you need to be consistently *seen* by new people. In marketing terms, (building your top of funnel). The traffic is there, you just need strategies to tap into it and the first step is deeply understanding your ideal customer. .

I LIKE YOU:
Be *relatable* in your content - be yourself GF! The best brands know they can’t be liked by everyone, in fact, the best brands polarise opinions. They are clear on their brand values and stick to them. Your vibe will attract your tribe. Start showing who you are on Instagram Stories.

How do you build trust? Be consistent in your branding, know your core brand values, share examples of social proof, share your best content, add huge value, be clear on your offerings.
